Due to many emails, response videos and concern. We have posted an update to the speaker project with solutions to help you get it working correctly. For this solution, you will need: Ketchup or Vinegar and Salt. Either will do.Make sure you have a paper towel or two handy as well as this one can get messy. Here is an excellent alternative recipe for a penny cleaning solution as well, taken from WikiHow.com:

Get a glass of vinegar or coca cola. Add regular table salt and mix. (The salt speeds up the process!)

Put your pennies in the vinegar or the coke

Leave them over night in the glass of vinegar or coke

In the morning take them out and wash them. Let them dry. Tada! You have shiny and clean pennies!
