ok so im doing everything exactly as the video said and im using a shiny penny yet it still isnt working....do you plug it into the headphone jack? if not then wat? HELP!!!!

on the jack plug lead, where do the + and - wires touch ?? it look like on the video that both wires are touching the penny !!
