The Unofficial Apple Weblog has released an illustrative guide to installing Windows 7 on your Apple Laptop. It’s an interesting look into turning your Apple into a Windows tranvestite. (Look out, Windows may have a virus!). For what it’s worth, Apple’s uniformed hardware standard lends a benefit to Windows 7, allowing it to run much stabler than any standard PC platform.
While this guide may be simple enough for you seasoned pros out there, it breaks everything down to layman’s terms, ensuring even the newest Apple nerd will be well on their way to getting this up and running.

Oh come on, I’m going to call BS on you. I run Dell workstations at work, and custom built PCs at home and help friends build/buy their systems. Some for gaming, some for just browsing and the like.
When it comes down to it, the only crashes they see are…surprise, crashes in Windows itself, not hardware failures or driver issues…or due to apps they’re running. In fact, coworkers of mine using MacBooks with Win7 have more issues than I do on my Dell systems…because, SURPRISE – Apple has yet to release proper drivers for many things.
Thanks for being biased.
And thank you, RA, for proving that PC users are wildly out of control about pro-Apple remarks. I installed Vista 64 bit on my iMac last month and there are NO drivers for that, and somehow I got it to work – faster than any PC in my house.
Just to show you that it can go both ways.
