This actually isn’t an infinite boot loop. It is finite because it will simply shutdown the computer when you start it. To make it infinite, simply replace the “-s” by “-r”. This way, each time you start the computer, it will shutdown and restart again, then shutdown,… creating an infinite loop.

then i create a shortcut in my desktop, i dnt know wer to put the string shutdown -s -t 10 -c “Your Message Here”
When i put it in the destination, it says invalid destination.
When i put it in the name box it says that name contains invalid characters.
Can anyone please give me some clarification bcause am really confused

Well this isn’t the best way…
I did this once too, but it’s easy to get rid of it…
The best way to do this, is to create custom installer with a small size game you want your friend to try out…
You create the installer that way so it adds an entry to the registry
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and add the shutdown message
So it won’t be that obvious, you won’t find it in startup, only in the registry…
If you’d like to remove it, just boot up in safe mode, open registry, and remove that key ^^
I did this, but i did it on my old computer which is slow and is to slow for me to get into safe mode or delete the file before the computer shuts off.

Oy! mate i did as you explained in the infinite restart on my computer and i can not find where to delete the command, i am using Vista Home. The startup folder reads empty so how can i stop my computer from restarting again and again, i am a partially disabled vet and i can not stress enough how much my computer is vital to my everyday activity. Please let me know how i can delete the infinite restart command. Joel
